Site Me ("we," "us," or "our") is a web design business based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. We build custom websites for local small businesses.

We will not use your personal information to send you unsolicited marketing emails or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We do not share your contact details with advertisers or data brokers.
Cookies & Tracking
Our website may use the following types of cookies and tracking technologies:
- Essential cookies — necessary for the website to function. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics and advertising (Meta Pixel) — tracks visitor behaviour to help us understand which of our pages and ads are working. You can opt out of this tracking using your browser's cookie settings or the opt-out link above.
Our website does not use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics platform beyond what is described here.
To opt out of interest-based advertising from Meta (Facebook/Instagram), visit your Facebook Ad Preferences. To opt out of tracking broadly, you can also use browser tools such as Privacy Badger or enable "Do Not Track" in your browser settings (note: not all trackers honour this signal).
Data Retention
Contact form submissions received through Netlify are retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry and fulfil any resulting project. We do not retain your information for longer than necessary.
If you become a client, we may retain project-related communications for the duration of our business relationship and for a reasonable period after it ends (typically up to two years) for record-keeping purposes.
You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us at the address below.
Your Rights Under PIPEDA
Under Canada's PIPEDA, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Withdrawal of consent — withdraw your consent to our use of your information at any time (subject to legal or contractual restrictions)
- Deletion — request that we delete your personal information
- Complaint — if you believe we have violated your privacy rights, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca

Security
Our website is served over HTTPS (encrypted connection). Form submissions are transmitted securely to Netlify's servers. We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, but no method of internet transmission is 100% secure.
We do not store financial information such as credit card numbers on our website.
Children
Our website is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
